Beauty
Beast
I chose this yellow rose because I saw it from my window on day when it was raining really hard and I thought that it was so beautiful, a speck of yellow against the grey world. So the next day, I went, picked it, and photographed it. It was also the only flower that was growing in the garden because it was cold and in late September.
Titania
Oberon
I chose this fairy flower stand because I got it a few years ago, and it has stayed in my flower garden ever since. I thought that it looked cool because it's a little rusty and the paint is chipping at places from being exposed to the elements. However, I feel like that just adds to its' charm.
Rose
Jack
I have several of these mannequins at home, and I use them for my sketching a lot, so I thought that it would be fun to photograph them. For "Rose", the background is actually a scarf that my aunt bought for me. I tried to put the mannequin into the French Girl pose for "Rose", but it didn't end up staying that way, and for "Jack", i tried to put it into Jack's pose at the bow of the boat from Titanic, but once again, it didn't stay that way.
Juno
Hera
This plate is a jewelry holder that my mom got from her friend a few years ago. I think that it is really cute and peacocks are one of my favorite animals. I actually picked this because I wanted to take a picture of a ring that I had on it, but I ended up taking a picture of the plate and not the ring.

I made cookies one afternoon after I saw one of my aunt's Instagram posts about Levain Bakery cookies, and I decided that I wanted to figure out how to to bake them for myself. They were a bit gooey and raw, but they made really good pictures. I liked how they looked against the lavender bushes that we grow, but I decided against choosing the pictures I took against them because they weren't looking very well through the lens.
